Lila Tirando a Violeta is the solo project of Uruguayan electronic music artist, producer, DJ, vocalist, songwriter, and performer Camila Domínguez. Known for her experimentation with various styles and genres, Lila's music ranges from ambient to club sounds, with influences from hard club and Latin music. She first gained recognition within the vaporwave community and has collaborated with a diverse array of artists. In addition to her solo work, Lila is one-half of a pop music duo that merges pop culture and performance art, performing at pride parades across South America in support of LGBTQIA+ rights. She has also organized and booked numerous international and local music events, visual art showcases, and exhibitions, collaborating with influential figures in the music industry. Lila has served as a host for NTS Radio in London and Internet Public Radio in Guadalajara, and is a co-owner of a record label.
