Lino Capra Vaccina is an Italian avant-garde percussionist and composer known for his innovative contributions to music. He is a founding member of the groups Aktuala and Telaio Magnetico and collaborated with Franco Battiato during the early experimental era. Vaccina has also served as a percussionist with the La Scala Philharmonic under the direction of Claudio Abbado. Currently, he is a prominent artist on the cult avant-garde label Dark Companion. Recently, he has collaborated with John Greaves of Henry Cow and Markus Stockhausen, both in recordings and live performances.
