Liquid Smoke is a psychedelic/progressive/hard rock band from New York City, formed in 1968. The band consisted of Sandy Pantaleo (lead vocals), Vince Fersak (guitar), Ben Ninnman (keyboards), Mike Archuleta (bass), and Chas Kimbrell (drums). They were signed to Avco Embassy Records in 1969, and their self-titled album debuted in January 1970. The album was produced by Vinny Testa and engineered by John Bradley at Ultra-Sonic Recording Studios in Hempstead, NY. Their single, a cover of "I (Who Have Nothing)," reached #83 on the Billboard chart and became a #1 hit in some regions. The band split up in 1971.
