Litfiba is an Italian rock and new wave band formed in Florence in 1980. The name "LITFIBA" is an acronym derived from the old telex system "Iricon," where "L" is a fixed character, "IT" stands for Italy, "FI" represents Florence (Firenze), and "BA" refers to Bardi, the street address "Via dei Bardi," number 32, where the band's first jam room was located. The current line-up includes Piero Pelù as the voice, who has been with the band from 1980 to 1999 and again from 2009 to the present, and Ghigo Renzulli on guitars, who has been a member since the band's inception. Former members include Gianluigi Cavallo (Cabo) on voice from 1999 to 2006, Filippo Margheri on voice from 2008 to 2009, Gianni Maroccolo on bass from 1980 to 1989 and again in 2013, and Roberto Terzani on bass and keyboards from 1990 to 1999 and 2008 to 2009.
