Lito Barrientos was a conductor and trombonist from El Salvador, born in 1915 and passing away in 2008. He is known for composing the classic big band cumbia "Cumbia en do menor." In addition to his performance and conducting work, Barrientos was an active member and co-founder of Salvadorian rights societies UGASAL and SACIM. He was also the owner of a music label.
