Little Billy Earl was a musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer born on September 28, 1935, in Sevier County, Tennessee. He passed away on April 7, 2021, in Sevierville, Tennessee. Earl was a co-founder of a notable music venture and was the son and brother of several individuals, as well as the uncle of many. He acted as the manager for his niece, Dolly Parton, early in her career starting in 1956. He first recorded for Goldband Records under the name "Little Billy Earl." It is worth noting that some discographies mistakenly credit Goldband recordings by his brother, Robert Owens, to Bill Owens.
