Little Frankie, born in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, grew up in Sussex and began her singing career with local bands. With the help of Peter Noone's management, she secured a recording contract and adopted the stage name Little Frankie. After a brief musical career, she transitioned to a new profession as a hairdresser.
