Little Hat Jones was a country blues singer and guitarist born on October 5, 1899, on a farm near the Sulphur River in Bowie County, Texas. He recorded for OKeh Records in San Antonio, Texas, during the years 1929-1930 and also accompanied other artists during a session in 1929. Little Hat Jones passed away on March 7, 1981, at the Municipal Hospital in Linden, Cass County, Texas.
