Little Royal was a US soul and funk singer, known for his recordings primarily during the 1960s and 1970s. He was often referred to as 'James Brown's little brother.' Born on November 22, 1933, in Durham, North Carolina, he passed away on September 29, 2016, at Washington Hospital Center ICU in Washington D.C.
