Little Sister was an American all-female vocal harmony group known for serving as background vocalists for a prominent rock/funk band during concerts and recordings. Originally formed as a gospel music group called The Heavenly Tones, Little Sister consisted of Vet Stewart, who is Sly Stone's "little sister," along with Mary McCreary and Elva Mouton. The group had a brief recording career of its own from 1970 to 1971.
