Living In A Box was a British synth-pop group formed in 1985 in Sheffield, emerging as the successor to Typhoon Saturday. The band disbanded in 1990 after achieving notable success with their music. Their single "Living in a Box" peaked at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and became their only track to chart in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. In 1989, they released two further UK Top Ten singles: "Blow the House Down," which featured a notable guitar performance, and "Room in Your Heart."
