Lo Borges was a Brazilian songwriter, singer, and guitarist born in Belo Horizonte, MG, on January 10, 1952. He passed away in his hometown on November 2, 2025. Borges was a founding member of Clube da Esquina, a music collective from Minas Gerais. He co-authored the influential album Clube da Esquina with Milton Nascimento in 1972, which marked a significant moment in Brazilian popular music. Some of his most notable compositions include "Paisagem da Janela," "Para Lennon e McCartney," "Clube da Esquina No. 2," "Trem de Doido," and "O Trem Azul."
