Lô Borges was a Brazilian songwriter, singer, and guitarist born in Belo Horizonte, MG, on January 10, 1952. He passed away in Belo Horizonte on November 2, 2025. Borges was one of the founders of Clube da Esquina, a music collective from the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. He co-authored the influential album Clube da Esquina with Milton Nascimento in 1972, which became a milestone in Brazilian popular music. Some of his best-known compositions include "Paisagem da Janela," "Para Lennon e McCartney," "Clube da Esquina No. 2," "Trem de Doido," and "O Trem Azul."
