Lobo y Melón was a Mexican son and salsa group formed in 1958 by percussionist Carlos Daniel "Lobo" Navarro and a singer. The group included members such as a pianist, Manuel "Perrote" Osorio on trumpet, Andrés "Mucha Trampa" López on bass, and Mario "Cholito" González on timbal. Other members were Ángel "El Cucarachito" Martínez, Crescencio "El Pajarito" Guzmán, and Luis Ortega.
