Lobo y Melón was a Mexican son and salsa group formed in 1958. The group was founded by percussionist Carlos Daniel "Lobo" Navarro and featured a lineup that included a pianist, Manuel "Perrote" Osorio on trumpet, Andrés "Mucha Trampa" López on bass, and Mario "Cholito" González on timbal. Other members included Ángel "El Cucarachito" Martínez, Crescencio "El Pajarito" Guzmán, and Luis Ortega.
