Logic System is a musical project created by Hideki Matsutake, who began his career as an assistant to Isao Tomita in the 1970s. He is renowned for his work as a sequencer programmer and modular synthesizer operator for the influential group Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), although he was never an official member. Matsutake contributed to several of YMO's albums and toured with an extensive collection of synthesizers. In the early 1980s, he also provided sequencing for numerous technopop albums by various artists. In 1996, he participated in a significant concert event organized by Isao Tomita and made guest appearances on several albums. His website features a vast collection of MIDI files, including some of YMO's original songs.
