London Posse is a hip-hop group from London, England, originally formed by Rodney P, Bionic MC, Sipho the Human Beatbox, and DJ Biznizz. The group was created to tour the US in support of Mick Jones of The Clash. They achieved initial success with their first single, produced by radio DJ Tim Westwood, which recounted their trip to New York. Afterward, Sipho and DJ Biznizz departed, leaving Rodney P and Bionic to continue as a duo. Together, they released the classic UK hip-hop album 'Gangster Chronicle' and a number of successful singles. In the late 90s, Bionic left the group to pursue a career as a jungle MC. Rodney P then embarked on a solo career, collaborating with DJ Skitz, The Nextmen, Dobie, and others, achieving considerable success. Currently, Rodney P and Skitz host a national hip-hop radio show on BBC 1Xtra.
