Long Island Sound is a Dublin-based duo consisting of Rob Roche and Tim Nolan, celebrated for their euphoric yet introspective approach to electronic music. Their sound blends big emotions with energetic elements, exploring genres such as house, techno, breaks, and electro through their own label, Signs of Space. The duo gained recognition in 2019 with their debut EP, Initial Ascent, followed by their first full-length album, Lost Connection, which was praised by Resident Advisor as "glorious, heart-tugging sunset techno." After a successful launch party in Dublin's Tengu and a summer festival tour in 2022, highlighted by a standout performance at All Together Now, Long Island Sound is set to expand their musical horizons in 2023. They will release Lost Connection Remixed in the spring, featuring reinterpretations from notable electronic music producers, along with additional releases and club shows that will further establish their reputation in the electronic music scene.
