Loose Ends is a British music group formed in London in 1980. Initially a trio, the band included a guitarist and vocalist, a vocalist, and a keyboardist. The latter two members departed in 1989 due to musical differences, leaving guitarist and vocalist McIntosh to continue with new vocalists for several years. The group is known for its high-class synth soul, R&B, and urban contemporary style, which was perfected by their producer. Over the years, Loose Ends released five albums and achieved several hits, including "Hangin' On A String (Contemplating)," "Magic Touch" (1985), "Slow Down" (1986), "Watching You" (1988), and "Don't Be A Fool" (1990). In recent years, McIntosh has reactivated Loose Ends, with Carriere joining the lineup. The group is currently recording new material, performing, and preparing for a US tour. Additionally, Jane Eugene tours under the name "Loose Ends Featuring Jane Eugene."
