Lord Paramour is a unique collaboration between two prominent figures in the Rennes music scene, both passionate about world sounds. On one side is DJ Marrrtin, a graffiti artist and beat maker who leads the influential label Stereophonk. He is recognized for his instrumental music, showcased at major breakdance battles worldwide, and has collaborated with notable artists such as Atom from C2C, Robin McKelle, and The Nubians. On the other side is Ajax Tow, who has recently released his second album, blending abstract hip hop and indie rock influences. Known throughout Rennes, he is characterized by his luxurious beard and baroque mixes, performing across France. Together, they share a deep appreciation for Bollywood, incorporating their eclectic inspirations into their music. Lord Paramour's sound features a wide range of influences, including break, hip hop, soul, disco, indie rock, downtempo, electronic music, and kraut rock. The result is a vibrant and sexy mash-up of beats and ambiance, creating an elegant and freestyle musical experience that serves as the psychedelic soundtrack to a spicy and adventurous life, a hallmark of Lord Paramour's fame.
