Lorez Alexandria (born August 14, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois – died May 22, 2001, in Los Angeles, California) was an American jazz and gospel singer. She began her career singing in churches and spent many years as part of an a cappella choir. After working the local Chicago club scene, she moved to Los Angeles in 1962 to further her career.
