Los Bee Bops was a Colombian band formed in 1961 in Bucaramanga. The group was known for its charanga, cumbia, and salsa music styles. The original members included Carlos Acosta D'Lima, Alfonso Hernández, Ernesto Hernández, Álvaro Serrano, and Orlando Rueda. Later, the band relocated to Barranquilla, where they welcomed additional musicians such as Jimmy Salcedo, Victor Gutiérrez, and Guillermo Vega, who played the saxophone.
