Los Belmonts was a Mexican Rock 'N Roll band formed in Mexico City in 1965. They were part of the first wave of Rock sung in Spanish, a movement characterized by the translation of popular rock 'n roll songs into Spanish. The band primarily focused on music from the British Invasion era. The original line-up included Jorge Mendoza on vocals, Francisco “el Pancho” on piano, Jorge Roig on drums, and Rogelio Boyzo on bass. Unfortunately, Los Belmonts disbanded by the end of the 1960s.
