Los Cheyenes was a garage rock and rhythm 'n' blues band from Barcelona, active from 1964 to 1968. The group was heavily influenced by The Kinks and originally consisted of Roberto Vercher (vocals, lead guitar), Joselín Vercher (bass, backing vocals), José María Garcés (guitar, backing vocals), and Ramón Colom (drums). In early 1966, Roberto Vercher was replaced by José Luis Moro (lead guitar) and Michel Galera (vocals), leading to the recording of "Borrachera / Siguiendo al Sol" (RCA, 1967). Subsequently, Ramón Colom and José María Garcés left the band. Roberto Vercher attempted to keep the group active until 1968, but they ultimately disbanded. In the late 1970s, Joselín Vercher founded a new group called La Salseta del Poble Sec.
