Los Compadres was a Cuban duet formed in 1949, consisting of Lorenzo Hierrezuelo, known as Compay Primo and the first vocalist, and Francisco Repilado, the second vocalist. In 1953, Compay Segundo was replaced by Reynaldo Hierrezuelo, also known as Rey Caney, who was Lorenzo's brother. The duo remained active until Lorenzo's death in 1993.
