**Bio of Los Corvets** Los Corvets is an Ecuadorian music group that originated in 1964, initially formed under the name "Los Pájaros de Fuego" with the support of Mrs. Josefina Abitia de Vallarino, mother of members Alberto and Roberto Vallarino. The founding lineup included Robbie García as lead vocalist and guitarist, Roberto Vallarino on first guitar, Alberto Vallarino on keyboards, and Yoyo García on drums. As the group evolved, they experienced various lineup changes, particularly in the drumming position, with members such as Eduardo Blacio, Amadeo Moreira, and Fernando Rodriguez passing through. In the early years, the group performed for free at radio stations, schools, and parties, gaining popularity despite their limited repertoire. Their first songs included "Tu Seras Mi Baby," "Diana," and "Y La Amo." By 1966, they began to gain more significant exposure, performing in theaters and on television programs like "Cocktail Deportivo" and "Pepsi A GO-GO." During this time, Robbie García left the group, and Marcos Molina took over as lead vocalist. The group underwent a name change to "Los Corvets" for promotional reasons and recorded their first music in 1967. Over the years, they saw various changes in their lineup, including the addition of Luis "Pollo" Silva and several vocalists, culminating in a period of extensive performances and recordings.
