Los Crazy Boys was a Mexican Rock 'N Roll band formed in Mexico City in 1959. They were among the pioneers of the first wave of Rock sung in Spanish, where translating current rock 'n roll songs into Spanish was common practice. The original line-up included Luis "El Vivi" Hernández on vocals, Luis R. Lara on requinto guitar, José Luis Scalli on bass, Luis Sánchez on drums, and Luis Angel Vallejo "El Grillo" on piano. In 1962, after recording their first two albums, Luis Hernández left the band to pursue a solo career but returned in early 1964 to record their fourth and final album, which remains unreleased to this day. The band ultimately broke up in 1964.
