Los Excelentes is one of the most important musical bands of the "Combos Nacionales de Panamá" movement, led by Toty Pino. They perform salsa, son, descarga, and a varied fusion of Latin rhythms. Their hits, including "La Aparición," "El Cangrejal," "Te Espero," "Rosaura," "La Niña Rosa," and "Noches Felices," represent the musical talent of Panama, which has gained recognition throughout the Caribbean, Central, South, and North America.
