Los Gatos Negros is a Spanish rock band that was founded in Barcelona in 1958 by Ernesto Rodríguez and Manuel San Feliu. The lineup later included Francis Rabassa on drums, Carlos Maleras on piano, and José María Mesa on trumpet and guitar. After Rabassa's departure, Piero Carando joined the band. Other musicians who contributed to the band included Quique Tudela and Frank Andrada, as well as singer and actress Mone. The band split up in 1970, with some members forming new projects, but they reunited in the late 1970s for live performances and recorded another LP in 1987 titled 'Borrón y cuenta nueva'.
