Los Hitters is a Mexican Rock 'N Roll band that was formed in Tijuana, Mexico, in 1964. They were part of the first wave of Rock sung in Spanish, a time when translating current rock 'n roll songs into Spanish was common. The band focused on music from the British Invasion era and recorded three albums between 1965 and 1969. The original line-up included Manuel “Menny” Muñoz on vocals, Juan José “Johnny” García on requinto guitar, Pedro Martínez on drums, Rodolfo “El Zorro” Tovar on keyboards and saxophone, Raul Blanco on saxophone, Raul Ávila on bass, and Estéban García on guitar. By 1968, they became known as "Meny y sus Hitters."
