Los Lazos was a Mexican musical group known for their covers during the 1970s rather than being a traditional rock band. Their only LP, released in 1972, was titled "Como Has Hecho," featuring love ballads, with the title track being the band's most recognized song. They performed at notable venues such as the Hotel Fiesta Palace, a key hotel in Mexico at the time. Among their members was Spanish singer Joséles, who achieved solo success with hits like "Espérame" and "Yo te Amo" under the RCA México label. The group's only original composition, "La Rola," showcased influences of jazz fusion and funk, a style prevalent among bands in the early 70s.
