Los Macs was a Chilean rock band formed in 1962 in Valparaíso. The original lineup included David MacIver on vocals and guitar, Carlos MacIver on vocals and bass, Willy Morales on vocals and keyboards, and Eric Franklin on drums. They gained popularity by performing covers of songs by The Beatles, The Shadows, and The Rolling Stones. Their most notable hit was "La Muerte De Mi Hermano." The band was active until their split in 1969. David and Carlos MacIver were part of the group from its inception until the end, while Willy Morales and Eric Franklin joined in 1965 and remained until the band's dissolution.
