Los Morochucos was a Creole folk group from Peru, active between 1945 and 1962. The group was formed by Augusto Ego-Aguirre and Luis Sifuentes, and later included Oscar Aviles, Augusto Ego-Aguirre, and Alejandro Cortez, who together were considered one of the best in the Peruvian Creole song genre. Their music often focused on themes related to the city of Lima and rural life. Los Morochucos had a fifteen-year run in the music scene.
