Los Nickelos is a Belgian-based Zairean band that was formed in Liège in 1965, initiated by M. Miltony, the president of UGEC-Liège. The band emerged from the vibrant orchestras of the Belgian student community, showcasing a wealth of talent. The founding members include the Nzeza brothers: Félicien Nzeza (bass guitar), Justin Masta Nzeza (solo guitar), and Jules Ngole Nzeza. The lineup also features François Kalala Fafa (tumba and conductor), René Kasanda Karé (vocals), Venant Kinzonzi Zatho (vocals), Jean Maurice Bitumba (vocals), José Mubuala Kelly (vocals), Antoine Bokito Tony Dee (vocals), Isidore Nzanga Zizi (vocals), Marc Banguli Marco (vocals), Paul Lieke (bass guitar), Justin Mangubu (trumpet), Bernard Kandolo Ben Akhan (saxophone), Camille Azimba Azin (maracas), Camille Ntoya Tocam (bass guitar), Bernard Bokombe Bébert (bass guitar), Freddos M'firi (Salsa singer), and Jean Ndomatezo Macchy (guitar).
