Los Orientales de Paramonga is a band hailing from Paramonga, a northern city in Peru, located 200 km from Lima. Known for their unique style and exceptional talent, the band is characterized by the distinctive "wah-wah" sound of their guitar. The current lineup includes Victor Ramirez as the Director and Lead Guitarist, Carlos Ramirez on Rhythm Guitar, Severino Rino Ramirez on Bass, Evert Rosales on timbales, Manuel Mañuco Rea on tumbas, and Victor Rojas on Seaweed, along with additional artists frequently joining them. The original Los Orientales were founded by Maximiliano Chávez in the late 1960s, with their records released under the Infopesa label.
