Los Pasos is a Spanish band founded by producer Alain Milhaud. Initially, Milhaud aimed to compete with other bands but ultimately abandoned the idea before any releases. The group consists of five musicians: Joaquín Torres (lead guitar, ex-"Diablos Rojos"), José Luis "Joe" González (organ, vocals, ex-"Sonor"), Álvaro Nieto (rhythm guitar), Martín Careaga (bass guitar), and Luis Baizán (drums). They signed with Hispavox and released three singles in 1966: "Tiempos felices," "Nací de pie," and "La moto," followed by an album. In 1971, they signed with Ariola and released their second album in 1972.
