Los Pekenikes is a Spanish pop band known for their instrumental music, formed in 1959 by brothers who played saxophone and flute, along with a lead guitarist. They were later joined by three friends from their school, Instituto Ramiro de Maeztu in Madrid: Ignacio Martín Sequeros (contrabass, electric bass, and harmonica), Pepe Nieto (drums), and Eddy Guzmán (vocals). Over the years, various musicians have contributed to the band, including Ignacio Martín Sequeros, Juan Pardo, Junior, Felipe Alcover, José Barranco, Tony Luz, Jorge Matey, Felix Arribas, Vicente Gasca, and even Luis Eduardo Aute. They initially covered English songs before composing their own melodies. Their first major hit was "Los Cuatro Muleros," and in June 1965, they had the honor of opening for The Beatles concert in Madrid.
