Los Retros, also known as Mauri Tapia, hails from Oxnard, California. He has been creating music since his early teens, showcasing his talent by playing every instrument featured in his recordings. His musical inspirations draw from both American and Latin American left-field pop and soft rock groups of the 70s and 80s. The name 'Los Retros' pays homage to the Chilean pop band Los Ángeles Negros.
