Los Satélites is a Venezuelan salsa and cumbia band that was formed in Maracaibo in 1966. Initially created as a sexteto, the band is now led by the son of its original founder. They are also known as Orquesta Los Satélites de Venezuela and were released in Colombia under a different name.
