Los Tecolines is a musical trio founded by Jorge Flores in approximately 1952, alongside his brother and Luis Cruz. Prior to forming Los Tecolines, the Flores brothers were part of the trio Los Zenzontles. During a performance in Durango, they encountered Antonio Velázquez, whom they invited to join as the first voice. Antonio accepted and moved to Mexico to help establish Los Tecolines, which went on to achieve significant popularity and produce numerous recordings. Other notable members of Los Tecolines included Enrique Cáceres, Manuel Gudiño, Juan Valdés, Jesús García, Jorge Alarcón, Pepe de la Cruz, Gilberto Luna, Lázaro Galindo, and Antonio López, who is now part of Azul Bohemia.
