Los Tigres del Norte, known as The Tigers of the North in English, is a norteño-band ensemble based in San Jose, California, with origins in Atlanta, Georgia. The group was formed in 1968 by a band of brothers, led by Jorge Hernández, who was just 14 years old at the time. They established themselves in San Jose and eventually signed with a record label.
