**Bio: Los Twisters** Los Twisters was a Mexican musical group that gained popularity during the early 1960s, particularly in 1961 and 1962, thanks to the twist rhythm. The group was originally formed in 1960 under the name "Los Checkers" but changed their name to "Los Twisters" in 1961. After performing for 30 consecutive days on the radio program "La Fiesta del Rock" on Radio Capital, they secured a recording contract with Musart. The group consisted of: - Julio Carranza (vocalist), who later became a provisional singer for "Los Teen Tops" and then joined "Los H." - Manuel Hernández (requinto), who also later joined "Los H." - Fernando Herrera (drummer) - Horacio Hernández (bass) - Rafael Rodríguez (piano)
