Los Yaki was a Mexican rock 'n' roll band formed in Reynosa, Mexico, in 1964. They were part of the first wave of rock sung in Spanish, a time when translating current rock 'n' roll songs into Spanish was common. The band focused on songs from the British Invasion era and recorded their first album in 1965. However, Los Yaki disbanded by the end of the 1960s. The original line-up included Benito Raul "Benny" Ibarra on vocals, José Luis Gazcón on requinto guitar, Manuel "Meme" Gazcón on bass, Luis Alfonso Ascencio on guitar, and Miguel Angel Ibarra on drums.
