Los Yesterdays is a musical project that originated in an Altadena garage, where Rowland, a long-time drummer and eccentric creator, teamed up with his old friend Benavides. Rowland took charge of recording and played all the instruments, while Benavides focused on writing and cutting vocals. The project remained in their garage for a few years until a mutual connection introduced them to other musicians who appreciated their songs. This led to the addition of guitar and bass players, allowing the duo to perform their music live.
