Louis Prima and Keely Smith were an American husband and wife duo who gained fame in the 1950s. Prima, a renowned bandleader and singer, welcomed 19-year-old Smith into his band in 1949. They married in 1953 and developed a vocal act that showcased Prima's "wild" and party-loving persona alongside Smith's "straight" character. Their partnership lasted until their divorce in 1961.
