Love Unlimited was a vocal soul and disco trio formed in 1969 in San Pedro, California, and disbanded in 1980. The group consisted of sisters and was known for their successful collaboration as a backing group for various artists, as well as for their own music. They gained recognition for their hit song "Walking In The Rain With The One I Love," released in 1972. It is important to note that they should not be confused with another group, a 40-piece string-laden ensemble originally formed by Barry White, which served as a backing unit for his music project and other artists.
