Lovesliescrushing is a shoegazer duo hailing from East Lansing, Michigan, consisting of primary members Scott Cortez, who handles guitars, loops, and treatments, and Melissa Arpin-Duimstra, who provides vocals. While their sound has drawn comparisons to My Bloody Valentine, lovesliescrushing distinguishes itself by being less reliant on traditional song structures and vocals. For live performances, additional musicians often join the group.
