Lowell Fulson, born on March 31, 1921, in the Chocktaw Indian Reservation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He began his recording career in 1946, which continued into the 1990s. His most notable songs include "Three O'Clock Blues" (1948), "Reconsider Baby" (1954), and "Tramp" (1967), the latter of which was later covered as a duet. Fulson's 1960s recordings were released under the name "Lowell Fulsom." He passed away on March 6, 1999, in Long Beach, California. He was the brother of another musician, with whom he recorded in the late 1940s.
