Lowell Fulson, also known as Lowell Fulsom, was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter born on March 31, 1921, in the Chocktaw Indian Reservation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He began his recording career in 1946, which continued well into the 1990s. Fulson is best known for his songs "Three O'Clock Blues" (1948), "Reconsider Baby" (1954), and "Tramp" (1967), the latter of which was later covered as a duet. He recorded with his brother in the late 1940s. Fulson passed away on March 6, 1999, in Long Beach, California.
