Dr. Albert Hofmann was a Swiss chemist born on January 11, 1906, in Baden/Aargau, Switzerland. He is renowned for synthesizing Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, commonly known as the hallucinogenic drug LSD. Hofmann passed away on April 29, 2008, in Burg im Leimental, Switzerland.
